The decorations are taken down, the dance floor has been removed, and the tents are packed away for another year.
This year's Kinde Polka Fest is over. Thanks to you, the festival was again a success with a huge crowd
on Saturday and Sunday. We want to thank everyone who helped the Friends of Kinde make our festival a grand event,
including our sponsors, our volunteers, as well as the Village of Kinde including the village council and Police Chief Randy
Miller. Without all of them, this event would not be possible. Most importantly, we want to thank all of our guests
who attended the polka fest. We especially loved seeing young children and teenagers getting out on the dance floor
and dancing to the beat of a polka. From what we could see, everyone had a wonderful time.
Thank you again for a wonderful polka fest. 2010 is not far away.
In the meantime, the Friends of Kinde are finishing up on a haunted house that will be open this Friday. Please
stay tuned to this site as well as your local newspaper for future announcements.
